Cleo the cello aka KylieB

KylieB (she/her) is a queer, Korean Kansan who cultivates creative communities. Pulling on her experience in live event production, digital management and tech support — aka “moral support for artists” — she supports artists of all mediums to execute their programming. KylieB was 11 years old when Cleo came into her life. They took part in Wichita Symphony Youth Orchestras Program (WSYO) for six years and at the Midwest Clinic in Chicago. Encouragement from mentors through these years included: Rob Loren, Ingrid Fowler, and Jacquelyn Dillon-Krass. Outside of classical, Kylie & Cleo's first stage performance and recording was with a Latin indie rock band out of Holland, MI.

Friday, December 29, 2023 – Join musicians Josué Estrada on trumpet and Kylie Brown on cello for a magical performance of experimental music in the exhibition Barbara Earl Thomas: The Illuminated Body. The performance will take place in front of Thomas’s cut-paper portraits Trumpet Offering and My Lady of the Cello.
